Hi there, I am Marni Olivier
I am an introverted-extrovert with a great love for people, adventure and being creative.
In 2013 I completed my first photography course and a few weeks later I captured my first wedding. Ever since, this passion has grown over the years and I can't believe that I am lucky enough to capture these special moments for the past 9 years.
My business partner is my loving husband and best friend (Jean-Pierre aka Jean). He is my biggest supporter, the calm to ANY storm and the most loyal person..
I am a hybrid photographer who shoots both film and digital. Nothing beats that feeling of receiving your film scans back from the lab and sharing them with your clients.
I aim to find balance between timeless and romantic images, whilst capturing those in-between fun and lovable memories.
The reasons I love film photography:
It is timeless. No presets/filters linked to a specific trend.
You shoot more intentional, no rushing through the photo session.
The way a film camera records light, shadows, and colours is so much different from digital. Film just has “that look", very dreamy, romantic look and a fine art aesthetic.
